Dr. Audrey Limoges

Assistant professor,

University of New Brunswick

Dr. Limoges studies the impact of natural and anthroogenic changes on aquatic systems. Her research involves proxy development to recontruct paleoclimate, ocean conditions, and environmental interactions spanning decades to millenia. From microfossils, diatoms, and palynology to sedimentary geochemistry, Dr. Limoges has studied interesting phenomenon such as sea ice changes and algal blooms. We look forward to her presentation!

Dr. Katherine Cashman

Professor of Volcanology, University of Bristol

We are honoured to host Kathy Cashman, a world-renowned volcanologist currently based in the U.K. Professor Cashman's research investigates magma evolution and eruption triggers of mafic, intermediate, and silicic volcanoes. From explosive-effusive eruption dynamics to ash generation and lava lake degassing, Dr. Cashman has studied it all and we are sure to hear an exciting talk!!

Dr. Joshua Davies

Dr. Davies studies large igneous provinces, including the Central Atlantic Magmatic Province. In particular, his research focuses on using petrochronology and geochemistry to reconstruct magmatic processes, develop models and analytical techniques to study ancient rocks, and examine the interaction between these large intrusions and mass extinction events. Welcome, Dr. Davies!
